Cinématic Café: Illusion

A false sense of eyesight, ‘heteroptics’ was picked up and discussed widely about ‘illusion’ including clues for tricks of magic.

Generally, when one feels buildings by walking they perceive the appearance of three-dimensional form in both eyes while they are moving. But when one looks at buildings in photographs and illustrations they perceive three-dimensional form with ‘monocular stereopsis’. In these cases what kind of illusion appears and the way to use it for design were presented by showing examples of impossible figures.
