Aiming at trying to find the vision and the clue for the city planning by seeing
the women’s lives and roles in the works based in Takaoka, Toyama and Hokuriku.

Viewing films, animations, mangas and literature (as we call ‘sub-cultural media’) ever made in Takaoka, Toyama prefecture and Hokuriku area as our important reference, the workshop aims to derive the women’s images and lives from these characters to find a vision for the future of the place. It’s open to students, business workers and all who is interested in film, architecture, literature or art as well as the place. No creative skills are necessary though we’ll ask you to make two or three-dimensional work. English speakers are very much welcome to join.
